The already traditional naturist race of Sopelana will take place on Saturday 19th at 12:00 p.m. on Barinatxe beach (also called La Salvaje/The Wild), located between Sopelana and Getxo towns in Biscay, Basque Country. Its current edition will count on international presence, given that 3 British, other 3 French, a Italian, an Irish and a German have joined the popular competition.

The 5000-metre (3.107 miles) race takes place on compact sand when the tide is low. Children's category participants will start running at the same time as adults but will make a shorter distance.

According to the organisers of the event, there will be six running categories extendable up to five:
Firm categories (Men, Women, Male Veteran's -or over 40's- and children -under 14-).
Naturist club members with a valid membership card; Male and Female Category.

A trophy will be given to the first three of each category, although there will be presents to all the participants reaching the finishing line.
Despite the registration deadline finishes on Thursday 17, participants still can join the race on Saturday 19, just before the competition starts.

peccato che sabato sono in pista ad adria, altrimenti andavo di sicuro...

5 kilometri? ma siam matti? io se corro per 10 metri, mi prende l'affanno, l'asfissia, la milza mi zompa fuori dall'addome, le gambe mi danno calci in faccia , i polmoni scappano dal naso ........No, non posso proprio........ma cavolo quanto invidio chi la farà, soprattutto per la dimostrazione dell'ampia apertura mentale che dimostrano.

Ma daiiii!!!! Sono solo 5 Km. non è una maratona suvvia, siamo ridotti veramente così?

Potrei farli anche con una gamba sola e coa bagoina...
